Everyone has a spiritual background, unfortunately mine was influenced by sexist Catholics who told me that it is to be a white God who will liberate me and take i to the promised land, that a white God died for my sins. This is the Christ brought to all over the world by imperialist whites who sought to oppress people by having them convert, give over their land, and use us for white profit, this happened through out history to Native Americans, Africans and other cultures. To most Africans, RAS TAFARI, or his Negus crowned name, I Haile Selassie I (power of the trinity) is seen as the ultimate entity of salvation and an example of liberation. He defeated Mussolini and the Italians in Ethiopia and spoke out against capitalist imperialists. He spoke the ultimate truths about humanity and beyond. Rastafarian’s look to Africa as the precious birthplace of humankind, This can proved through science and means of biblical research. Rastafarian are Zionist and believe in spiritual Zion, to aid ourselves out of this Babylon, a place of living where war hate racism and famine plagues. Rastafarian’s however have become more progressive, and still carry the ideals of the old black man arise mentality and Follow the holy Piby as the biblical means of spiritual guidance. We shall disappear from Babylon’s eyes and use our minds and bodies, devote them to bringing peace into our lives and to spreading love and liberating ourselves from these shackles. Hail Jah for guidance and protection Hail Jah for food Hail Jah for shelter Hail H.I.M."

Rasta prayer beads! I call them “Jah beads.” They have 100 beads around and three dangling at the bottom representing the Holy Trinity. I use these in meditation (“irie iditation”), and I recite a variety of Psalms, Proverbs, other Bible verses, Our Fathers, Hail Marys and personal prayers as I go around. This is the first one I designed using onyx and glass beads, but there will be a variety of Rasta beads available in my Etsy shop next week in onyx, glass, plastic and wood with a variety of tassels!
